My First Post! Welcome!

A little bit about why I got into content creation and why I decided to start this blog.

Hi everyone! If you don't know me, I'm Grace and I create all kinds of content... kind of just whatever my heart desires. I'm so grateful for everyone who has gone on this crazy journey with me and is interested in the things I have to say here!

I wanted to start by telling you guys about my own history with content and to do that, I'm going to let you guys into my life more than I have in the past. I was a casual internet user (shoutout to the kids with unrestricted internet access because our parents didn't know wtf it was) starting in elementary school. Mostly, I'd play games on the Disney and NIckelodeon websites. Sometimes, if I was feeling crazy, I'd venture to games2girls or Barbie. Overall, I was just playing dumb games and being a kid.

When I was in the summer after 6th grade, a lot of life things happened all at once. I moved to a small apartment from the only house I knew, left all of my friends, and began the absolutely treacherous, terrible journey that was finding friends in a place where I very much did not fit in. During this time, content was all I had, it was my only consistent thing. Most notably, I watched a TON of Dan and Phil. That duo really kept me afloat all the way through middle school and even now. Peep the Insta for my picture with them on tour. I was also very much invested in the British vlog squad and a variety of gaming YouTubers.

Those were the people who I always knew would be there. In the chaos that was my life, I knew they would be there to help me forget what was going on . With no judgement or expectations, I had a place that was ok with me just being me. For a really long time, that was my only place. It made me feel safe.

I decided to get into content creation for that very reason. I want to be the safe space for someone. Where they feel like they can come to my chat or comments and find a home. My goal has always been to foster community. When you're with me, you don't have to worry about everything going on in your life - you can just be here with me.

I am forever honored that you all have decided that I'm the space for that. Whether you use my streams/videos as background noise so you feel less alone (say hi and let me know you're lurking!) or you're playing games with me, you wanting to spend the time you have on this Earth with me is never something I take for granted. It's truly everything to me. From my entire soul, thank you.

On this blog, I want to talk about what's on my mind that I wouldn't usually talk about on stream. You'll get a little bit more into my life and get to know me better. I can't wait to go on this adventure with you all!
